I work tonight and haven't had anything to really eat this morning, so I was craving a carbalicious lunch today.

And I started driving towards McDonald's. I wanted it. I could taste the McDouble and the fries.

But as I was driving, I started thinking about all the stuff I have at home to make lunch with.

And you know what?! I passed McDonald's by and drove back home. This wouldn't have happened a month ago.

I didn't want to be one of those people that wants to diet, talks about dieting, makes plans and prepares meals and purchases groceries in line with healthier eating, but then just continues to have "cheat days" and talk about making up for it later. That just makes you remain stagnant, and I'm NOT allowing myself to ever go near 150 pounds again. No, thanks.

So, I came home and made spaghetti using extra virgin olive oil, whole wheat spaghetti, tomato sauce with minced garlic, onions, kale, and lean ground beef. It's surprisingly scrumptious.

GO ME!

Now to get ready for work and hopefully come home and beast out an hour Q&A sesh.
